For each IBCM conference, the organisers try to bring together information on the Brethren movement in as many countries in the world, to provide a pen portrait of the movement in each country and key contact information.

At the IBCM3 conference it was also agreed to establish a Brethren Information Network. This is at an early stage of development. For the time being, this website and the Brethren Educational Network website are jointly fulfilling this informational role.
