"putting love where love is not"

GO-

FACILITATING MISSION

GO-SERVE NETWORK
Mission is at the heart of God. He sent his son into the world to show just how much he loved us. Today we are called to carry out the same task, to take the love of God into the world to those who do not know his love for them. We are all called to “put love where love is not” through both word and action.

Mission therefore requires two things: understanding the love of God and his word (discipleship) and knowing how best to express his love in any context (skills). By collaborating with our mission partners, Go-Serve provides a platform to facilitate short-term international mission team opportunities that combine discipleship training and skills development to equip you to effectively serve God by putting love where love is not in various mission contexts.

We can often believe that the most important aspect of mission is the successful completion of the planned projects and activities. While these are important nothing replaces nor outlasts the building of significant relationships with the people you encounter. Your investment in people, not just projects and activities, will serve to transform your own life, the lives of those within the mission team, and the lives of those you serve. After all, we are all called to “put love where love is not.”
