Introducing our Speakers

Peter Tan is presently the Organising Chairman of PITH 2021.

He hails from Penang and is married to Audrey. They have two grown children, Adeline and Aaron. Peter and Audrey moved to Petaling Jaya and served alongside together at SS Gospel Centre (SSGC) from 1986 where Peter served as deacon of SSGC and later as Elder of SSGC’s church plant, Agape Chapel and later its outreach, The Living Room. Peter has worked as a pilot with Malaysia Airlines since 1982 and is now working for Air Asia.

He’s passionate about missions and church planting which The Lord has called both him and Audrey. They love working with God’s people in their calling and they are also zealous in encouraging families in the Family Life ministry. Peter recently completed his second term as Chairman of the Klang Valley Elders Council (KVAEC) and is serving his second term as trustee of CBSM.

Teo Pek Bing was CBSM chairman 2013-2016, and is currently the General Secretary.

Pek Bing, or as he is affectionately known, Uncle Bing, had been working in the electronics industry for over 30 years. During those years, he served in Sg. Nibong Gospel Hall in various roles. He is currently an elder and teaches regularly at his home assembly, Penang assemblies and at GLO. In 2016, he retired from secular employment to spend more time on shepherding, studying and teaching the Word. Together with a few faithful brethren, he is also heavily involved in the Balik Pulau Outreach effort in Penang.

Pek Bing is married to Fang Fang and they live in Penang. They have two grown-up daughters who recently started work.
